I found these tips on how to keep children's ears popping while flying. Hopefully they help you ease the pain in their ears during the plane's takeoff and landing.
Babies: Suck on a pacifier, drink from a bottle or breast feed
Toddlers & Up: Yawn. Do it first and have your child imitate you yawning
4 & Up: Eat an apple or carrot
8 & Up: Chew gum or suck on hard candy

Baby! Baby! by Vicky Ceelen
Check out this funny board book for kids and adults of all ages called Baby! Baby! by Vicky Ceelen. It contains photos of babies and their animal lookalikes. Makes you think why pet owners tend to resemble their pets!

Safe Baby Gate
Safety 1st has designed a safer baby gate for parents. The Curve gate is the first of its kind to allow you to stand firmly on the top step. This is extremely helpful when carrying a baby in your arms and you must balance on the step while bending over to open the gate. What a great concept! Looks like the only place to buy it now is Babies "R" Us.
